Who we are

What we collect

• What you type into the contact form: your name, company, website, phone number if you give it, and your message.
• Basic website analytics, if analytics is switched on: pages viewed, rough location, browser and device type. This is not tied to your name.
• Server logs, which include your IP address, for security and troubleshooting.

Why we collect it

To reply to you, to prepare a quote, and to keep the site working and free of spam. That is all. We do not sell your details and we do not share them with anyone except the services below that help us run the site.

Who else sees it

• Our email provider, so we can receive and reply to your message.
• Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that form submissions come from a person and not a bot.
• Google Analytics, if it is switched on for this site.
• Our own CRM, where we keep a record of who asked us for a quote.

Cookies

The site sets a cookie to protect the contact form against cross-site request forgery. If analytics is switched on, Google sets its own cookies. Nothing else is set.

How long we keep it

Contact form messages stay in our email and CRM for as long as we may reasonably need them for the enquiry or the work that follows. Server logs are kept for a short period and then cleared.

Your choices

Write to josh@webroofers.com and ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We will do it and tell you when it is done.

Changes

If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.
